Rimtec Manufacturing

Devine Brothers provided Design / Build assistance to TN Ward Company and Rimtec Manufacturing for Rimtec’s Burlington, New Jersey automotive silicon mold business. The plant had relied on a central steam and compressed air plant from an adjacent facility which became dilapidated requiring Rimtec to build its own.

The project required (4) 200hp Miura Boilers with specialized filtering and water softening to produce high grade process steam. Energy supply facilities comprising gas and oil utilities were also designed and installed. A full production compressed air plant with proper drying equipment and storage for the plant air also became a project requirement. Monitoring and measuring equipment was installed and utilized to monitor air to the plant and to measure its cost effective production. This project was delivered on a Fast Track (6) month timeline including the construction of a pre-engineered metal building housing the main mechanical equipment. The production facility was maintained in continuous operation (a 24 hour per day schedule) throughout the entire construction period as a result of the detailed planning and professional collaboration of TN Ward and Devine Brothers.
